Welcome, my name is Lori and this is Free from Panic. I've been dealing with panic attacks, panic disorder, and anxiety attacks, fears, and phobias, for the last 20 years. This is one of the few sites that deals with these issues from a Christian point of view.
On the pages of my site you will find support, comfort, encouragement, and even inspiration that will help you deal with your particular situation. You are not alone with the fears and the panic. I've chatted with hundreds of loving dedicated Christians that were bound by this disorder. Because of them I've made this a safe place to find the courage and support you'll need to make it through the tough times.
I've been a Christian for a long time and yes Christians can and do get panic disorder, fears, and phobias. I have studied the Word of God and have learned basic Biblical principles. When these principles are put to work in your life, along with a lot of hard work, you can be free from panic. I know this because I've lived it. It has been a struggle but God has done some major work in my life. If He can do it for someone like me, He'll do it for you!
You didn't just happen upon my site today. I believe with all my heart that the Lord directed your "surf board" and brought you here to visit with me. Please take a moment to relax and look through my pages. There is a lot of information here. Pray as you go and open your heart to what the Lord has for you today. I'm in the process of updating my sites. Eventually my sites, Free from Panic and Free from Depression will be joined by a new site I'm working on called "Basic Bible Principles".
I've found that the things I have to share concerning panic attacks, fear, phobias, and depression, work for any and all other related issues that keep people from living a victorious Christian life.
Because of this I'm building a site that includes all of these truths from the Word of God.
Along with the site, I will be offering weekly email messages through the "In Jesus" message group. I'm starting the emails now as I build my site. When the site is done the email program and the site will compliment each other.
